Using the modeling framework provided by the solph library from the Open Energy Modelling Framework (oemof.org), initial tests have begun in implementing fundamental aspects of electrical microgrid simulations. These include conventual and renewable energy sources, variable pricing schemes, feed-in power, electrical storages and load flexibility.
